#zoom公開課
我常常跟學生說，我改口說作業常常在改你們的特製「拼裝車」。It's made neither in Taiwan nor in the United States of America.
上週在口說課當中，我請同學在回家作業的錄音當中討論「年輕一代對於婚姻的觀念的改變」。這種「大家都有點想法，但是內容又沒有過度簡單」的 task，往往最能反應出大家的學習階段和狀況。
✔︎ 於是 A 同學提到了現在年輕人在 #財務穩定 後，才會想要結婚。
他說 “They don’t get married before being confident with their financial situation.”
我緊接在後說了 “before they’ve achieved some degree of financial stability.”
✔︎ B 同學提到了大家現在通常比較 #晚婚。用英文他說了：
“They tend to postpone the age to marriage.”
我也趕緊補充，應該要說 they tend to delay the age at which they get married” 或簡單一點的 “They tend to get married later in life.”
✔︎ C 同學提到了年輕人現在在結婚前，有 #很多事情要考慮 時說：
“face various problems before they consider marriage” 我也趕緊補充比較自然的 have many things to consider before they decide to walk down the aisle
通常我給出重述後，大家都會 #聽得出來重述的版本比較正確。能夠聽得出來就是重要的一步。但到底要如何提升這樣的轉換能力？如何能夠不斷仰賴在腦中中翻英、製造出「拼裝車」的現象呢？
